As we step into 2026, I want to extend a sincere thank you to every client, family member, referral partner, and supporter who trusted HJP Legal over the past year!  It has certainly been a busy ne!  Criminal defense work is deeply personal, often arriving at moments of fear, uncertainty, and vulnerability. It is never something I take lightly that people choose our firm to stand beside them during those moments – I take it as the biggest compliment and thank each and every one of you.

Every case—large or small—represents a real person, a real family, and real consequences. In 2025, our clients entrusted us with their freedom, their futures, and their reputations. That trust is the foundation of our work. Whether we were fighting a serious felony, resolving a misdemeanor, protecting a professional license, or advocating for a second chance, we are grateful for the opportunity to do this work with integrity and purpose.

Reflecting on the Year Behind Us

The past year reinforced why thoughtful, rehabilitation-focused criminal defense matters. We saw firsthand how early intervention, careful strategy, and compassionate advocacy can change outcomes. We also saw how quickly lives can be disrupted by an arrest, an investigation, or a single mistake. These experiences continue to shape how we approach every case—with diligence, empathy, and an unwavering commitment to constitutional rights.

On the logistics front, HJP Legal expanded from Irvine, California to Troy, Michigan in late 2024 and continued building in Michigan.  Then, in late 2025, we have started our expansion in Miami, Florida.
